A 20m² micro apartment and a grocer within an existing building in Kingsford for a Japanese artist couple. The concept was straight lines derived from the strong use of straight lines in the existing building. These lines were used to create a clean, simple design to contrast the creative personalities of the clients and to enable them to personalise the space with their own work whilst providing an opportunity for customised furniture that could be folded out of the walls in the apartment to maximise the use of space.
